Minoru Momota
He began his career at ORIX Corporation in 1995, where he built broad experience in financial advisory, structured finance, non-performing loan investment, corporate turnaround, and principal investment. From 2005, he was based in Hong Kong with ORIX Asia, focusing on real estate and private equity investments across Greater China. He later joined PARCO in 2011, contributing to shopping center development and broader business expansion across Asia. With approximately 20 years of overseas business experience and trilingual capabilities, he joined Mercuria Investment in 2017, established Mercuria’s Thailand operations, and has since led the development of financial advisory, investment, and consulting businesses across ASEAN.

He joined Hankyu Hanshin Properties in 2012, building extensive experience in residential and commercial real estate development, business development, sales and marketing, design and construction, and investment management. Based in Vietnam for approximately 10 years from 2015, he led the company’s local expansion through strategic partnerships including Nam Long Investment. He managed investments exceeding tens of billions of yen and helped drive large-scale housing and urban development projects worth several billion US dollars, including Izumi City, Akari City, and Mizuki Park. He joined Mercuria Vietnam as General Director in April 2025.
