Background of the establishment of the local subsidiary in Vietnam

Beginning with the establishment of the MIBJ Consulting (Beijing) Co., Ltd., Mercuria Investment Group has been expanding its business based on the fundamental idea of 'cross-border’ since its establishment in 2005. Our company has formed a local subsidiary in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam as our fourth overseas base and we will continue to operate primarily with local staff, aiming to develop the business and benefit from Vietnam’s strong economic growth.

Previously, Mercuria (Thailand) Co., Ltd. was established in 2018 and has been providing consulting services to Japanese business companies operating in Thailand. The business has grown steadily since its establishment and is characterized by the fact that it recruits and trains excellent local Thai staff, who then provide exceptional services to Japanese companies. Due to the steady progress of the Thai business, we become confident of the demand for consulting services for Japanese companies in South East Asia. Thus, we established a subsidiary in Vietnam with the aim of providing the same services in Vietnam where it is experiencing remarkable economic development.

While international businesses including those from Japan continue to expand their operations in Vietnam with the aim of entering this booming market, Mercuria Investment Group is focusing on assisting Japanese businesses to develop their operations in Vietnam, where medium- to long-term growth is anticipated, by offering exceptional consulting services through its subsidiary in Vietnam with the same service standard.
